1. Summary
RevApple, LLC operates stitchsitter.com. This policy explains what information the website collects and how it is handled.
2. Information we do not collect
We want to be specific, because most privacy policies are vague on this point. Through this website, we do not collect, and have no technical means of collecting:
- Payment details. The website processes no transactions and never asks for card or bank information. Your name, telephone number and email address are collected ONLY if you choose to submit one of the three contact forms described in section 2A.
- Analytics or behavioural data. No analytics service of any kind is installed.
- Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. There are no advertising networks, tracking pixels or social media embeds on this site. The only third parties involved at all are our host, the form-delivery service in section 2A, and the map providers in section 2B.
- Any information about the designs you create, own or send to your device. Your designs are handled by your StitchSitter device on your own local network and are never transmitted to us through this website.
2A. The three forms, and where their contents go
This website has three forms: the contact form at /contact, the dealer application at /become-a-dealer, and the support contact form on the support page. They are optional. Nothing on this website collects personal information unless you fill one in and submit it.
When you submit one, the fields you completed are sent to a third-party form-delivery service, FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards them to us by email. Depending on the form this can include your name, your email address, your telephone number, your business name and location, and whatever you write in the message. FormSubmit processes that submission in order to deliver it, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to that step.
We use what you send only to answer you and, for a dealer application, to assess it. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent, and we do not sell or share it.
2B. The dealer map
The "Where to buy" page shows a map. That map is drawn by the Leaflet library, which the page loads from the cdn at unpkg.com, and the map tiles themselves are requested from OpenStreetMap. Loading a file from another server necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details to that server, in the same way as any image on any web page. Those requests happen only on that one page, we receive nothing from them, and no identifier is set.
3. Information stored on your device
The website stores a single value in your browser's local storage, recording whether you prefer the light or dark appearance. This is a preference, not an identifier. It is not a cookie, it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is not used to recognise you. You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings for site data.
4. Information our hosting provider processes
The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider (Vercel Inc.). Like effectively all web hosts, our provider automatically processes limited technical information as a necessary part of delivering the website and protecting it from abuse. This typically includes your IP address, the page requested, the date and time of the request, your browser type and referring page.
This processing is carried out by the hosting provider on our behalf for the legitimate interests of delivering the site securely and reliably. We do not use this information to identify you, we do not combine it with any other data, and we do not use it for marketing.
5. If you contact us
If you write to us, we receive whatever information you choose to include, such as your email address, your name and the details of your question. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or a comparable law applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases: our legitimate interests in operating, securing and maintaining the website, for the technical information described in section 4; and your consent, or the necessity of responding to your request, for correspondence you send to us.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information relating to you. These commonly include the right to request access to it, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and certain other jurisdictions have rights to know what is collected and to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, write to sales@stitchsitter.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Because this website collects so little, in most cases we will hold no personal information relating to you at all.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at sales@stitchsitter.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but the amount of information involved here is deliberately minimal.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what this website collects, we will update this policy and change the date above before the change takes effect. Adding analytics, a newsletter or an online store would each require a change to this policy. The three contact forms described in section 2A were added after an earlier version of this policy was written, and this version was corrected on 2 September 2026 to describe them.
